Things we do to make ourselves happy.

BANG is a founding partner in Speakaboos, bringing classic children's entertainment into a digital world. Beloved characters and treasured stories are given new life through amazing celebrity performances, beautiful illustrations, and original music. At Speakaboos, children develop literacy skills while learning about technology in a safe and fun environment.

BANG is leading the effort with the NY City Council to officially rename 28th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, “Tin Pan Alley”.  As the place where “God Bless America,” and “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” were written, many people consider this the birthplace of popular music.

BANG partners, Lyle Greenfield and Brian Jones are part of original producers group in this uplifting new musical.  Starring Melissa Gilbert, who we all knew as “Laura” for 10 years in the much-loved television series, now all grown up and playing “Ma.”

Chris Peterson, in his dual roles as producer / director of business development for Post FactoryNY and  Bang Music, jetted to Park City for the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.  While there, Peterson, along with Alex Halpern, Post FactoryNY’s founder and president, hosted film panels and sponsored the “NY State Lounge”, where artists and filmmakers gathered and learned about film production incentives in New York—and at Post FactoryNY, where Bang oversees all in-house audio post production.  While Bang continues to expand into the world of independent film (including the new feature “The Stare” from James Franco’s production company), Peterson’s industry savvy and presence at Sundance provided many new windows of opportunity.
