HA HA! YOU CAN’T SEE THIS

BEADY JAY is an electronic artist, songwriter + producer from New York City.

His mother calls him Brian D. Jones (actually, she calls him “punkin’” but that’s not important).

You’re much more likely to have heard his music on TV and in film than on the radio – he’s served as music supervisor and contributed music for many TV shows and several of James Franco’s indie films. He’s also written music for hundreds of commercials (including the song “Make It My Own” from his upcoming EP and featured on a current spot for L’Oréal).

Jones got his start touring in a rock band. In the mid-2000s he made a little room beside his guitars for a midi keyboard and took a deep dive into electronic music. And as techno, drum n’ bass and trip hop gave way to electro and dubstep and eventually led to trap, Beady Jay fashioned his own sound, blending elements of all that came before, in service of the songs.

The first single from Beady Jay’s eponymously-titled EP is the hip-hop infused EDM banger “Here Comes The Night” featuring Homeboy Sandman + Garrison Hawk.
