Bang’s Timo Elliston and Ray Angry (The Roots) return for the second season of Hulu’s comedic series, Life & Beth, created by and starring Amy Schumer and co-starring Michael Cera.

“Season 2 takes us to so many new places - both geographically and conceptually - and the score reflects that,” says Elliston. “We cover a lot more ground this season. There’s opera, soul, New Orleans-style jazz, and, in particular, there’s one episode where we get to go into this whole classic spooky music thing with the orchestra. I’ve always wanted to do that - did not see that coming that it would be on this show! And, yet, the heart of the score is the music that accompanies these intensely personal scenes that you see on the screen. Because, despite all the silliness in the show, it’s these very real-life moments in the show that are at its core.”

Notes Angry: “It’s amazing working with an artist like Amy who pushes new boundaries, which allowed us to explore a whole new palette for this season.”
